Change of Heart

What do you think a change of heart means? Sometimes we think it means when someone changes their mind about something that has happened. Perhaps like when we’re at school and we notice we have left someone out of a game or group. We always need to remember to think further than just our needs and put ourselves in someone else’s shoes.

One day it might happen to YOU!
This is the message in Rm 6’s movie for this years Manaiakalani Film Festival.
Enjoy!

My name is Genevieve. I am a year 4 learning at pt england school.

I liked the part where there was pictures and there were words that were bad like annoyed or mad and they got a brain and put good thoughts in it and it turned pink.

Did the students make the pictures that were close to the end.

  12. Kia Ora Saint Patrick’s school your guys movie was so good. It was also emotioal for me because of the songs and actions. The ending was very sweet of how you guys hugged each other and played together.

From Emilee at Point England School.

  13. Talofa lava Saint Patrick’s School.
My name is Zephaniah Malolo, and I go to Ruapotaka School.
Your movie is incredible and helpful for some students that need to learn to be together and be kind to each other. The pictures and the words were so creative, because the unsettling words like “Annoyed” or “Enemy” went through the brain and turned into positive words to “Compassionate” and “Generous”.

By the way, Did the students or any of you teachers come up with the idea of the Pictures and the brain thingy? It was really Smart.

Regards, Zephaniah Malolo from Ruapotaka School.
